1. Workshop on Design and Manufacture of imitation jewellery was conducted at JSS High school, Srinivasapura, Bangalore on 25th Nov 2015.

JSSAJDTC had conducted one day workshop on Design and Manufacture of imitation jewellery as part of skill development and promotional activity in JSS High school, Srinivasapura, Bangalore exclusively for 9th, 10th, & 12th Std Students on 25 Nov 2015. This was conducted as part of the centenary Jayanthi Celebration of Jagadguru Dr. Sri. Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, Srikshetra, Suttur.

2. Visit to India International Jewellery Show exhibition, Bangalore - 2nd Nov 2015.

The Chief Executive along with the staff members and students attended an India International Jewellery Show exhibition conducted on 02.11.2015 and trainees were taken and introduced to a variety of recent evolution on designs and manufacturing of Gold/Silver and Platinum jewelry.

3. One day workshop on –“Working with Platinum –A Platinum Workshop for Beginners” on 1st Sept 2012.

Organised by “ JSS Advanced Jewellery Design Technology Centre” in association with Karnataka State Jewellery Traders and Workers Association Federation (R), Bangalore, Sri. Viswakarma Seva Samithi, Bangalore and KNS Consulting India, Bangalore.
Objective: This workshop was conducted with an objective of providing latest technologies developments in Platinum Jewellery Manufacturing.
Course Content: Basic Introduction to Platinum, Benchwork, Tools used in manufacturing, Alloying selection for bench Fabrication and Final finishing and polishing.
Speakers: Mrs. Kathrin Schoenke, KNS Consulting India, Bangalore, having 20 years of experience in the field of Designing and Manufacturing of Jewellery using precious metals and now specialized in Platinum Jewellery Manufacturing Techniques.
Sri. D P Manjunatha, IRS retired Deputy Commissioner, Customs Central Excise and Service Tax, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, and now Chief Executive of JSSAJDTC having 28 years of experience in import & export customs procedures, Gemmologist specialized in Diamond, Coloured Stone, Pearl Grading from Gemological Institute of America.

10. One day workshop on- “ RTE and MSME” on 24th November 2012.

Dr. K J Vari, Ex-Principal, The Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi spoke on the occasion about Right to Education(RTE) a recent trend in education.
Sri. B R Umakant, Chief Executive(Projects), JSSMVP, Mysore presided over the function and spoke about establishment of JSSAJDTC under ASIDE Scheme for training purpose of Artisans.
Sri. M Prabhu, Additional Director, MSME, Directorate of Industries & Commerce briefed on necessity to create employment in Small and Medium Scale Industries especially in Gem and Jewellery Sector.
Smt. Sivagami, Regional Manager, Aide et Action, Chennai, NGO from France explained various activities of Aide et Action, Indian Branch promoting literacy among Physically Differently Abled and Economically Deprived students.
Sri. D P Manjunatha, Chief Executive, facilitated the distribution of certificates to the successful candidates who had under gone training in CAD, Casting & Bench Work.
